Wanna know the coolest thing about these colors? @bouldercolors made them from Christmas dinner leftovers: purple onion skins, purple yams, cranberry, poinsettias, sweet onion skins, and mixed mushrooms.

That’s right: @bouldercolors is doing it betterish by creating pigments & paints from plants and food waste from locally sourced organic ingredients here in Boulder, CO (vegan & waste-free!)
…and I’m beyond excited to be teaming up with them to bring you PAINT PALS: a snail mail project created to facilitate colorful connections (swipe through to see the palette @bouldercolors has already created for our snail mail kits ---have dots every looked so delightful?)

Sign up here and you will be:
• matched with a pen pal/paint pal
• sent a Paint Pal Snail Mail starter kit that includes: one dot card palette sourced from locally grown plants, 5 watercoloring postcards, mini-guide with tips & tricks on how to be an awesome pen pal/paint pal, + a betterish sticker 💌
• optional for kiddos: a (virtual) kick off Storytime with Connectasaurus Rex live a @themeetcart on Saturday, February 6th (time TBD) 🦖📚
• optional for adults: a (virtual) Happy Hour at @themeetcart (day/time TBD) to connect with pen pal people nationwide 🍻

COST: $25 >>>15% of proceeds will go to Good Trouble Farm.

absolutely no previous art experience needed for the watercolor part…just an openness to give it a whirl!
