PLEASE NOTE: For the foreseeable future, the Meet Cart will be holding space to talk 2020: from the pandemic, to protests, to the upcoming presidential election---wildfires are still raging and it seems we've lost so much, and yet there's still the possibility to gain as we head into these final months of an unforgettable year (to say the least).
Amidst the pandemic, though we are finding new ways to connect with friends and family, we’re not able to connect to new, fresh faces. Research suggests there’s a positive impact when we connect with strangers, both for our own and others’ wellbeing. As humans, we are inherently social creatures who are made happier and healthier when connecting with others. So let’s make it happen.

But, what’s The Meet Cart?
Created as a mobile structure where strangers meet, greet and play, The Meet Cart is where unfamiliar people become unexpected pals. In a world of great disconnect and divide, Betterish has created this pop-up social space were simple games and activities bring people together in fun, meaningful and engaging ways.
It’s been to creative events, festivals, birthday parties, museums, schools, parks, donut shops and bakeries. Now it’s coming to a virtual space.
How will we meet strangers in a virtual space?
We’ll be playing a game called 7 SECOND STORIES. In a small group of four or five, participants will be prompted to draw something…in only 7 seconds. Join in and see how scribbles and scrawlings can spark funny, powerful and interesting conversations, particularly during these tough and tender times. Snag your spot today.
